The SOS prevents the dispensing of carbonated water without syrup by stopping water flow at the dispenser valve - a particularly useful feature for lemon-lime (clear) sodas and drive-through windows. The SOS senses the pressure drop in the syrup line caused by an empty BIB and shuts off power to the valve’s electric solenoid. The SOS automatically resets with the installation of a full BIB. |
